Having been drawn in a group with Japan, Norfolk and Milton Keynes, MASC found themselves joint top with the latter and a penalty shoot out decided who would go through to the quarter finals. Pictorial evidence of the crucial pens can be seen here and with MK also missing another MASC stormed into the last 8.
Unfortunately this was where the wheels fell off!! Losing to the tournament’s eventual winners Hungary however, was no disgrace and MASC are very proud of their position amongst the top 8 teams in the world!!
